I was on the radio Thursday night. Do you remember the radio? I don’t have a radio so I listen to it over the internet. It was Co-op Radio. (www.coopradio.org) The Lesbian Show. How fun is that? One of our models, Aya Ruckus and I went to talk about Good Dyke Porn. We shared the space of an hour with a dyke musician, who played some of her songs and talked about her plans for the future. That Bitch! No really, Bitch. You know, Capital B, Bitch and Animal. She was there with her girlfriend, Daniela Sea (Max from the L Word). I was a bit star struck. Creating this project has been the most ambitious thing I’ve ever done. Years ago when the thought entered my head - I want to make porn - I never imagined everything that would be involved. To me, this questions ranks right up there with, “Who am I?”. Let’s break it down. Good I suppose calling the website Good Dyke Porn leads to an implication that there will be dyke porn that is considered good. I have received tons of emails from people saying, “It’s about time someone created some good lesbian porn. Which makes me chuckle. I’m sure the people who made the bad porn weren’t intending for it to be bad. |
